Ramsey Project
Customer wanted to remove old and dated carpeting in the living room, dining room, hallway and bedrooms of their bi-level home. They also wanted the carpeting removed from the stairs and wanted to give it the entry way an elegant and
updated look to go along with the gray painted walls and white wood work and white base board molding.
So we consulted with them and completed other cosmetic services to enhance the overall look of their Entry way to their Ramsey home. We planned, managed and completed the entire project. This was our list of services that we provided:
- Removal of all carpeting, padding and staples from the floors and steps
- Dustless Sanding equipment and staining with a medium to dark brown stain and top coating the floors with BONA Traffic HD Commercial Grade water base finish for their high traffic home.
- The existing risers (vertical parts of the steps) were made of pine which does not stain and refinish well , so we installed new oak veneers on the risers and refinished them along with the stair treads
- We removed the old and dated pine balusters and replaced them with new black satin iron balusters to give it a move inviting look.
- Installed Dark Brown Tile on a diagonal on the upper and lower entry ways to complement the medium to dark hardwood floors
- We refurbished and stained and top coated the hand rail and newel posts to blend with the newly refinished hardwood floors.
- Installed new decorative 5 ¼” White base board moldings throughout the rooms where the floors were refinished
